This unsearched river bench gravel comes from Left hand creek in the Ward Mining District. Left hand canyon has been in Colorado’s mining history since the start of the gold rush in 1859 where miners followed left hand creek up the mountain searching for the lode source near what is today the town of Ward. Colorado PayDirt is happy to offer this limited supply of Left Hand Canyon PayDirt in a Medium USPS flat rate box. I can not obviously say how much gold you will find, if any as that is the point of unsearched paydirt. I can tell you that this area consistently produces placer gold from the load mines above the river and has become very rich since the recent flooding. Each medium flat rate box contains at least 25lbs of paydirt, most weight in around 30lbs. I have hand picked out most of the larger rocks to maximize the amount of material you receive but I do not classify this material. If you have any questions please feel free to ask! Happy panning, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
